One Website to Rule Them All – The New Approach Mobile Websites.

Mobile used to be a simple medium. If people could get on your website from their phone all they got to see was plain ole’ text. Not exciting, but it made building mobile websites easy. But mobile has changed; most notably there are more mobile devices than ever.

Mobile is no longer just a phone; it’s your TV, your tablet, your netbook and your MP3 player. To make things more complicated each device has different screen dimensions, capabilities and controls. How does one build a mobile website for such a broad range of variables?

The answer is responsive design and the mobile first approach. In this talk, Ross Johnson will discuss how plan your WordPress website so you can have one design that is optimized for a whole range of different devices.
