January 2012 Meeting Cancelled

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we’ve had to cancel tonight’s (January 2012) meeting. We had some room scheduling issues with the Workantile (not their fault, they are amazing!) Unfortunately, the space is not available to our group this month. But we will be back on Feb 29, 2012 with a session on blogging. Sorry about the inconvenience, and really sorry about the short cancellation notice.

Cheers, Declan and Ross.

P.S if you know someone who was planning on going tonight, do us a favor and let them know we’ve cancelled tonight’s meeting.

Hopefully the cancellation was not due to an illness or injury, but I have to say it was *REALLY* frustrating finding out about this at the door. Is there an email list or other way I could get an *active* notification about late changes like this? (as opposed to reading a post about it after the fact) Would I have seen this post if I had been following your Twitter feed?

  2. Hi Paul, we are really sorry you had to find out about the cancellation at the door, we tried our best to send notifications via Twitter, Facebook and to our MailChimp mailing list, as well as asking attendees to pass the word.

You can use any of the following links to keep up to date with our group.

    Thanks, Declan

  3. Thanks for providing the tracking links, my friend Mark Johnson and I also found out about it at the door.

  4. Hi Scott, I’m very sorry that you had to find out at the door. We tried our best to make sure we contacted everyone, especially those that were travelling from outside Ann Arbor. I guess we missed you, Mark, and Paul, the previous commenter (and I’m pretty sure others.)

I see you signed up to the mailing list. We’ll try give much better notice if we have a cancellation again in the future.

Again, please accept my sincere apologies for any convenience caused.

    Thanks, Declan
